It is a verb to describe things that were true in the past but are no longer true in the present.
Affirmative= USED TO
Negative= DIDN'T USE TO
Questions= DID ___ USE TO
Affirmative:
Pronoum + used to + verb in base form + complement
Ex: She used to dance ballet everyday.
Negative:
Pronoum + auxiliar didn't + use to + verb in base form + complement
Ex: He didn't use to ride a bike.
Yes/No questions:
Auxiliar Did + pronoum + use to + verb in base form + complement + question mark (?)
Ex: Did they use to be together all the time?
Yes, They used to. / Yes, They did.
Affirmative sentences:
- I used to go to the gym.
- She used to leave with her family and friends.
- He used to watch more movies and series before.
- I used to go to the park with my nieces.
- We used to play volleyball.
-I didn't use to eat salchipapa.
-They didn't use to go out for beer at night.
-She didn't use to take a walk his dog.
-I didn't use to drink water.
-He didn't use to go to the stadium to see Junior.
- Did You use to play soccer?
Yes, I did. or Yes, I used to. / No, I didn't. or No, I didn't use to.
